Finally, Fawwaz started a story in Bahasa Indonesia! Well, thanks to his teachers at Sekolah Republik Indonesia Tokyo, for helping him to explore what he refers as "bahasa kakek" instead of "bahasa ibu". And the story goes like this:
The World of Bego (well, the title is in English --our first excuse)
Ada orang namanya Pak Bego dan Pak Bego Sekali. Keduanya bertemu dengan Pak Pintar. Lalu kata Pak Pintar, "Bolehkah aku ikut kalian berdua?". Jawab Pak Bego dan Pak Bego Sekali, "Boleh saja, tapi kamu harus ganti nama menjadi Pak Bego Bego Sekali." Lalu Pak Pintar menjawab lagi, "Oke, saya akan menjadi Pak Bego Bego Sekali dan ikut kalian." Jadilah ketiganya pergi membentuk The World of Bego
Sekian.
(note from discussion after the presentation: Fawwaz, why Pak Pintar seems so easy to follow Pak Bego dan Pak Bego Sekali, and even chaged his name into Pak Bego Bego Sekali? Fawwaz replied, "Itulah begonya dia...")
Hang on, boy...where did you pick up the word of "bego" anyway? Fawwaz replied, "Well, some kids kept talking about "bego: during break time yesterday. It's a new word though, for me...)
